Hiking, climbing and biking in Waidring

Start your hike from our alpine hotel & restaurant and be inspired by the imposing Kitzbühel Alps and the nearby Loferer Steinberge! Whether in the valley or at altitude, a hiking holiday in the Pillerseetal valley will enthral all mountain enthusiasts and fans of hiking! The Weissbachschlucht gorge is only 5 minutes away and we are only 15 minutes from the Kneipp system of the same name.
Our alpine hotel & restaurant in Waidring even has a hiking bus for its guests, which will take you to the starting point of your hike or pick you up from your hiking destination. The Pillerseetal valley is also perfect for cycling and mountain biking in summer where over 800 km of cycle and mountain biking routes meander through the picturesque Pillerseetal valley.

Golfing and fishing in the Pillerseetal valley  

The south shore of the Lauchsee lake is reserved for anglers, but fishing is only permitted if it is not open for swimming. The Pillersee lake is particularly popular with fishermen and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Oberweissbach alpine hotel & restaurant. Here you can fish rainbow trout, speckled trout, chub, carp and brook trout, and the Forellenbach restaurant has recently created some fish ponds.
